The very important activity that you and your puppy should do is puppy house training. When you bring home your puppy for the first time, introducing your home environment is very crucial.

One of the natural habits of a dog is to relieve himself wherever he wants. It is important to train your puppy to do it outside your house. Never forget, control over his bowels and bladder are less for younger puppy. When they are feeling afraid or threat puppies urinate and mark their territories. You should not go more than three waking hours if he is three months old without taking him outside. After long drinks of water and meals, approximately twenty minutes, puppy should be taken to designated area by you. Take him outside to the designated area immediately if you see your puppy eliminating inside.

Telling him ‘no!’ will not help, also falling into the temptation of sticking your puppy nose in it. He will scared and nervous around you if he is being yelled. Also he will not understand why as it will just confuse him.

Rewarding a good behavior and ignoring unwanted behavior are good for puppy training. Wear it a leash and take your puppy outside. Give him time to eliminate for five minutes. Put him back in his crate when the time given ran out. Then, after ten minutes, on a leash you should take him back outside and repeat the process when it needed. Use a certain command when he begins to eliminate and continuously say it again and again when he begins to eliminate.
