This dog is also people-friendly although at the same time he can chase an intruder away at anytime. If you want to buy this bulldog, you have to make sure that you bring home your dog with good health, socialized and good temperament. So, find a breeder that offers health guarantees and who has the credentials and paperwork to back up their reputation. This kind of breeders actually cares about their dogs and has good knowledge about breeding.
Good English bulldog breeders will only breed once in a while rather than frequently, because they need to take time to find two adequate dogs that are both healthy and fit to be bred. Try to avoid getting a dog from mass breeders. Mass breeders will breed as often as they can and then sell the dog as quickly as possible in order to make the most money. Pay attention to a breeder who does not allow you to meet the mother dog. Typically when a breeder is unwilling to introduce the mother dog to potential buyers it means that the dog sickly and they know that this would obviously discourage buyers.

Ask to see the mother and see if she is lively, happy and socialized in the home. The relationship between the dog and the breeder will tell you which the best bulldog breeder.
